Last week, I had some friends round for dinner. It is always difficult to come up with a grand meal during the week as I never have much time to cook. Anyway, we had a simple italian dinner - pesto bruschetta, spaghetti pomodoro (a simple all time favourite) and frozen yogurt.
During the course of the evening, I learnt that Grant and Leona have a Flickr site where they share photos of Leona's food (she is esp into French cuisine) and Grant's models. Since I have been struggling for a while to improve the quality of my photo's it was really great getting some tips from Grant. I must say that I discovered functions on my camera which I did not know existed. So, I have been playing around with the macro function and exposure. Here are some shots of my beautifully blooming orchids.
Elizabeth and Leona both bought items from my shop which I was really pleased about. I now realise it is not worth my while wasting time by trying to promote using the Etsy forum. Word of mouth plus people actually seeing the product works a million times better. I am so pleased these products found new lovely homes.
