ABC about me

I was tagged by Melissa to do the ABCs about me. Here are the rules. Tag the ABCs about you. Each player then tags 3 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

A- Attached or single: Attached to the delightful Markus 

B- Best Friend:  I've got lots of good friends but no best friend

C-Cake or Pie: I like both cake and pies.  Banana cake is one of my favourites and real  English apple pie made with short crust pastry is also wonderful.  Yummy!

D-Day: TGI Friday.  Just knowing I have a weekend ahead when I can hopefully lie in, meet some friends and generally chill out is so very pleasing.  Especially if I am also working from home on the Monday.

E- Essential Item: Cocoa butter and lip balm.  I absolutely loath dry skin and alway have my moisturizers and lip balm at hand.

F- Favorite Color: I love baby blue.  But also pastel green and light pink.

G-Gummi Bears or Worms: Neither. 

H-Home town: Benin City, Nigeria.  But I haven't lived there in over 25 years

I- Indulgences: I would say fabrics.  I just can't resist buying a beautiful piece.

J- January or July?: I'd say July since it is warmer, the days are longer and I have so much more energy and desire to do stuff.

K-Kids: None so far but hope that will change soon

L-Life is incomplete without: my family and friends

M- Marriage Date: not applicable

N- Number of Siblings: five (four sisters and one brother).  I am the fourth child

O- Oranges or Apples: apples (oranges are too messy to eat)

P- Phobias or Fears: I am sadly phobic of Cats.

R- Reason To Smile: a little child that smiles or waves, a stranger with a smile on their face, Markus, something sweet that little Zak (my nephew) said to me.

S- Season: I love them all.  I love all those wonderful colors of the trees in Autumn, I love skiing in the winter, I love spring for the burst of life and new colours and I love summer for the warmth. 

T- Tag Three: Erica, Shawnta, and  Delilah!

U- Unknown fact about me: I speak German

V- Vegetarian or Oppressor of Animals: I've been vegetarian for over 20 years.

W- Worst Habit: I love order and it pleases me greatly when my flat is clean and tidy (this is what most people usually see).  But sometimes (especially if I've been very busy), my living room can get quite untidy and chaotic, especially if I've been sewing!

Y-Your favorite food: I love almost all fruits and vegetables (except anything from the celery or cucumber family).  I love pulses, rice, pasta, plantains.  I am currently eating lots of foods from my childhood.

Z: Zodiac Sign: Virgo.
