I may have mentioned in one of my earlier posts that I set myself goals for 2008. Amongst the many goals, I set up something for my crafting business. I remember thinking; gosh you are ambitious.
January was a very slow month where nothing moved. February was really great and I actually achieved my goals. So thanks to Liz, Leona, Aisha, and Dorothy plus Fred for making this happen. You have all encouraged me greatly and I am motivated to keep writing this blog and carrying on making new things.
March has started off well with Claudio getting this revamped brooch for a friend:
Also, Etsy finally brought me my first client in 2008 with the following napkin rings finding a new home all the way in Massachusetts; thanks Fred.
Aisha is also planning to host a small party in April where I can showcase my stuff to her friends. I am really looking forward to that (thanks Aisha) which means I need to replenish my stocks; there is nothing more exciting than starting new projects. Plus Eka has commissioned a felt case for her new Mac-book.
With things looking bright, I am thinking of replacing my sewing machine which has been with me for over 20 years; a Bernina or Singer would be fantastic.
Finally thanks to those of you who take the time to read my blog and especially to those who leave comments so that I know you've stopped by.
